Welcome the fashion police! We checked out what the who’s who of the entertainment world wore on the red carpet in one of the biggest events this year. Which look did you like or dislike?
Debra Messing looks ultimately striking in this sheer slash detail, midnight blue dress. The copper hair colour, accessories and makeup work extremely well with the dress. This look is super classy and edgy!
We love this whole look on Julia! It’s completely different to what we usually see her wearing on the red carpet. It’s fun and flirtatious and we approve the cute peep toe’s to suit this look.
Angela Bassett looks like a grecian goddess in this outfit. The gold accessories are the perfect choice for the night of glitz and glamour. A big tick on the bouncy voluminous hair!
Julie Bowen shows us that a summery floral dress is also perfectly suitable for a prestigious occasion like the Emmy’s. This key-hole slit halter dress is looks incredibly flattering on her body and the simple drop earrings are a great finishing touch. We love this look and she looks like she’s loving it too.
For a split second, we thought we were looking at a supermodel! Lizzy Caplan sure knows how to work it in this monochrome backless train dress. She looks just breathtaking.
Kerry Washington looks orange hot! We love the glitter detailing and underskirt of the dress. The long slit makes her legs look a mile long and thanks to the underskirt it allows that effect without revealing too much. The charcoal blue for the clutch and eyeshadow is just the right choice of colour.
Who doesn’t love yellow during summer? This beautiful canary yellow gown looks amazing on Kate Walsh. The peplum train gives a gorgeous silhouette for her athletic figure.
This seductively romantic look is working for Lucy Liu. The ivory chiffon dress fits her very well and the bustier is very sexy. The gown just hits in all the right places.
This black and red confetti strapless dress is definitely a head turner! It’s very couture but not outrageous. We love!
This look is super sleek and sexy! The fade monochrome dress skims Juliana’s body just beautifully. Her hair slicked back is a definite yes. This looks is sharp and feminine, giving it the right balance.
Although the lavender coloured dress suits Laverne’s skin tone perfectly and falls nicely, the top half doesn’t really do her any favours. The halter style makes her shoulders look significantly broad and the neckline is just too low.
Coloured heels instead of black would make this look a little more interesting, or even a hint of colour in her jewel accessories would suffice.
Alexandra looks like the ultimate bombshell but we think the dress is a little bit see-through. Don’t you think?
